We recently took on a project in Devon where the customer needed to have a completely new roof structure installed.
Carried our during December 2023, on behalf of the client we instructed a local architect to work with us on producing a set of drawings for a complete new roof structure and applied to Devon Building Control on behalf of the customer.
The work involved was as follows:
- Preparation/Paperwork
- Ordering of materials
- Controlled asbestos removal
- New timber roof structure
- Felt and battens
- Re-rendered the chimney and new cap & cow
- Solar panels brackets fitted
- Slating the roof
- Insulating the rear flat roof and fitting GRP (Fibreglass) Flat Roof
- Rainwater goods/Plastics fitted
- Removal of all waste from site
- Completion certificate and asbestos paperwork issued
